What does the dermal filler treatment involve?

Dermal fillers are injected in very small doses just underneath the skin in the area requiring treatment. The results can be seen immediately following treatment as the filler softens or plumps out the sunken area or lines on the face. Some bruising and swelling are to be expected following a dermal filler injection and this will go away naturally in the days following the treatment. Depending on what type of dermal filler has been used, results can last from 4 to 12 months.
